Problems we solve

Is your business running on disconnected spreadsheets?

Most growing businesses don't have an operations problem. They have a visibility problem: every department keeps its own records, and nobody sees the whole picture in time.

  1. 01

    Every department, its own spreadsheet

Sales, stores, production and accounts keep separate records, and the numbers never quite match.

  2. 02

    Stock you can't trust

Inventory is counted by hand, shortages surprise you, and orders wait on materials nobody knew were missing.

  3. 03

    Approvals stuck in chats

Purchases, discounts and dispatches wait for approval on WhatsApp or paper, with no record of who signed off.

  4. 04

    Reports that arrive too late

Month-end numbers are assembled by hand, long after the decisions they should have informed.

Our solution

One system that connects how your business actually runs

We map your operations first, then build an ERP around them, module by module, so each department works from the same live data.

  • Operations first, software second

We walk through how orders, materials, production, dispatch and payments really flow today, including the workarounds, before designing anything.

  • Built and adopted module by module

We start with the modules that remove the most pain, put them in your team's hands, and add the rest in stages instead of one risky big-bang launch.

  • Connected to what you already use

The ERP integrates with your accounting software, CRM, website and e-commerce channels, so data is entered once and flows everywhere.

Our approach

How we build an ERP your team will adopt

Every business runs differently. The way we build an ERP doesn't. Open each step to see what it covers.

  1. 01.Operations mapping

We follow orders, materials, production, dispatch and payments through your business, and note every workaround and approval.

  2. 02.Module plan and data model

Modules, roles, approval rules, integrations and reports, prioritised and agreed in writing.

  3. 03.First module live

The module that removes the most pain is built first and used by your team, so real feedback shapes the rest.

  4. 04.Remaining modules and integrations

Further modules are added in stages and connected to accounting, CRM and other systems.

  5. 05.Data migration and training

Opening stock, masters and open orders are migrated with checks, and each department is trained on its daily work.

  6. 06.Go-live and support

A supported go-live, parallel running where needed, then ongoing improvements as your business grows.

    What you notice
Orders are re-entered for dispatch, invoicing and accounts.
    How we fix it
Data entered once and passed through every department automatically.
  • Approvals with no record

    What you notice
Purchases and discounts are approved by phone or chat, and nobody can check later.
    How we fix it
Approval workflows with limits by role and a full audit trail.
  • Management waits for numbers

    What you notice
Decisions wait for someone to compile reports from several spreadsheets.
    How we fix it
Dashboards for sales, stock, production and cash, updated as work happens.
  • Growth adds chaos

    What you notice
A new branch, warehouse or product line means more spreadsheets and more mistakes.

Custom ERP vs off-the-shelf

Custom ERP, off-the-shelf ERP or spreadsheets?

Off-the-shelf ERPs such as Odoo suit many businesses. A custom ERP makes sense when your operations are your advantage. This is how the options compare.

Guide

Custom ERP development: a practical guide for business owners

What is ERP software?

ERP (enterprise resource planning) software connects the core activities of a business, such as sales, purchasing, inventory, production, dispatch and accounts, in one system with shared data.

Instead of each department keeping its own records, everyone works from the same live information. An order entered by sales reserves stock, triggers production or purchasing, and flows through to dispatch and invoicing.

Custom ERP or off-the-shelf ERP?

Off-the-shelf ERPs such as Odoo, SAP Business One or Zoho's operations apps work well when your processes match the product. They are quicker to start and come with many standard modules.

A custom ERP makes sense when your processes are distinctive, when your team would spend more time working around a generic system than using it, when you need deep integration with existing tools, or when licence costs grow faster than the value you get.

Which ERP modules does a business need?

Most businesses start with inventory, purchasing and sales orders, because that is where errors and delays cost the most. Manufacturers add bills of materials, production planning and quality. Distributors add multi-warehouse stock and dealer pricing.

Accounting is often handled by existing accounting software connected to the ERP, rather than rebuilt. HR, payroll and field-service modules come later, if at all.

ERP for manufacturing companies

Manufacturers need an ERP that links customer orders to bills of materials, material availability, production schedules and dispatch. Without that link, production plans are built on guesses and stock-outs appear on the shop floor.

Shop-floor screens should be simple: job cards, material issue and production entries that can be done on a phone or tablet, often with barcode scanning.

Implementing an ERP in phases

Launching every module at once is risky. A phased approach starts with the area that causes the most pain, gets it working and adopted, then adds modules one at a time.

Each phase delivers value on its own, and lessons from early phases improve the later ones. It also spreads training across departments instead of overwhelming everyone at once.

Migrating data into a new ERP

Item masters, customers, vendors, opening stock and open orders all need to move into the new system. Most of this data needs cleaning first: duplicates, inconsistent units and missing codes are common.

A safe migration is done in stages, with counts and samples checked after each step, and a short period of parallel running for critical areas such as stock and billing.

Getting your team to use the ERP

Most ERP projects that fail do so because people don't use the system. Screens that match each role's daily work, short training sessions by department and quick fixes in the first weeks make the difference.

Involving key users from each department during design means the system reflects how work actually happens, and gives you internal champions at launch.

What affects the cost of custom ERP development

ERP development costs vary with the number of modules, user roles and locations, the complexity of approval rules, integrations with accounting, CRM or e-commerce systems, data migration, mobile and scanning needs, hosting and security requirements, timeline and ongoing support.

Because these differ so much between businesses, we don't publish fixed prices or packages. After a scoping call, we send a written proposal with a phased plan, deliverables and a customised quotation.

Frequently asked questions

What is custom ERP development?

Custom ERP development is designing and building ERP software specifically for your business, with the modules, workflows, approvals and reports you need, instead of adapting a general-purpose ERP product.

Is a custom ERP better than Odoo or SAP?

It depends on your processes. Off-the-shelf ERPs suit standard processes and are faster to start. A custom ERP is better when your operations are distinctive, when you need deep integrations, or when licence costs outweigh the value. We'll recommend what fits on a strategy call.

Can the ERP connect to our accounting software?

Yes, using the integration options your accounting software provides. Sales, purchases and payments can be synchronised so entries aren't duplicated.

Can we start with one module?

Yes. We usually recommend it. We build the module that removes the most pain first, then add others in phases.

Will the ERP work on mobile phones?

Yes. ERP screens work in mobile browsers, and we can build mobile apps for stores, shop floors and field teams, including barcode and QR scanning.

Can you migrate data from spreadsheets or our current software?

Yes. We clean and map item masters, customers, vendors, opening stock and open orders, migrate them in stages with checks, and support parallel running where needed.

Does the ERP support multiple branches and warehouses?

Yes. Multi-branch and multi-warehouse structures, with stock and reports by location, can be designed in from the start.

Do we own the ERP software?

Yes. The source code, database and hosting accounts are yours, with no per-user licence fee to us.

How secure is a custom ERP?

We build role-based access, approval limits, audit logs, encrypted connections and regular backups into every ERP, and host it in your own cloud account where possible.

Do you build ERP for manufacturing companies?

Yes. Manufacturing ERPs include bills of materials, work orders, production planning, material consumption and quality checks, linked to sales orders and stock.

Are you an Odoo partner?

No. We are an independent development company. We build custom ERPs and also implement and customise Odoo for businesses that choose it.

How long does an ERP project take?

It depends on the number of modules, integrations and the amount of data to migrate. We deliver in phases and agree the timeline in the written proposal.

How much does custom ERP development cost in India?

It depends on the scope: modules, users, locations, integrations, data migration and support needs. We do not publish fixed prices; share your requirements and we will send a customised quotation after a scoping call.
